The Basic ordering period for this BPA is five years from date of award, with an opportunity to earn five additional one-year award term periods. Upon execution of the Evergreen Clause under their GSA Schedule Contract, award term periods under this BPA may extend the ordering period through September 30, 2016. Each Task Order issued under this BPA shall specify its own period of performance.

The purpose of the Cross Agency Support Services (CASS) acquisition is to provide the full range of support services within the Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) Line of Business (LoB) - necessary to support BTA headquarters, directorates, and program/project/product offices, in support of BTA’s various missions and will integrate BTA functional and operational activities into an agile, efficient, forward leaning operation. The CASS acquisition will provide the requiring offices with the means to acquire the necessary expertise and capabilities to support their mission requirements. Specific LoB objectives are identified throughout this SOO. GENCO is a subcontractor to TAPE LLC on this vehicle.

GENCO is prime contractor holding this BPA for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - Immigration and Customs Enforcements (ICE), which is valued at 21 Million. The DHS ICE Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) uses this vehicle to procure IV&V services for its portfolio of programs. The IV&V will be an extension of the OCIO Program Executive Office (PEO) support to proactively identify objective data about product/service quality, performance, compliance, and improvement for the development and execution of IT Programs and projects; its delivered operations and services; and its end-user acquired performance capabilities.

The overall objective of this contract is to have available specialized services to augment the OLE Federal Air Marshal Services (FAMS) Facility branch's continuing program of design and construction projects requirements in its 26 Field Offices, Resident Airport Offices, Training Center, Service Support Facility, Operations Center, Headquarters' facilities dispersed throughout the United States. With the expansion and need for leased space and the pace of change and demographic challenges, the Government seeks ways to maximize its resources and skill sets and provide service when and where needed.
